Founder's Day 2008 celebrates SENIORS. This marks the 85th anniversary of Dad Hoeger founding the The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society.

Each year, Good Samaritan residents' friends and family from all over the United States visit Osceola county. NOVEMBER 22, this event invites large numbers to Osceola county to join the outdoor fun and festivities.

Parade - 10am and Picnic - 11:30am

These resident events culmenate on Saturday with an annual parade and picnic in Amelia Park, complete with live entertainment and games for children. This year, the greater community is participating by entering parade floats and manning vendor tables with door prizes and give aways.

Guest housing residents from many different states will be coming to enjoy the fall weather, see old friends and join in the festivities.
