thrives throughout the 435 acre campus.
Banquet/Event Facilities
The Village has a wide range of venues available to host
your private party, special event, conference, retreat, wedding,
or reception.
Beauty Shop
A full-service beauty/barbershop
is available to all residents.
Boat Ramp
A boat ramp with a marina that opens into
Shingle Creek and from there to Lake Toho and through the chain
of lakes in Central Florida. A secure
boat/RV Storage Facility is also on property.
Broadcast and Media
Center
Located in the Community Center, the Media
Center is the origin of television broadcasts for our closed circuit
GSV-TV-98. Live programming and a perpetual calendar of events can
be seen daily.
Butterfly
Garden
One of only 300 such facilities worldwide
this butterfly aviary is home to butterflies in their natural surroundings.
Club House
Clubhouse is home to our Health Club which
includes a fitness center, indoor
pool and spa, and locker rooms. The Fairway
Cafe serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with
outdoor seating available which overlooks the lake, golf course,
and oak canopy. The Boardroom is available for private catered events.
Our Village Welcome Center houses our Leasing
staff who greet our guests for group tours or private VIP presentations.
Community
Center
The Community Center is home to Dining Services
offering meals cafeteria style, the Game Room, activities office,
media center, and “the Florida Room.” Regularly scheduled
social functionsoften utilize the stage with extensive sound and
lighting equipment.
Community Church
Nestled between the Community Center and the
Health Care Center is our very own Community Church. As an Inter-denominational
church, the full-time pastor holds three weekly services and administers to the needs of it's members. Services are carried by on internal TV-98 for those unable to attend in person.
Computer Classroom
The computer classroom offers opportunity
for beginner, intermediate and advanced computer instruction. The
equipment and high speed internet access is currently being upgraded
and relocated.
Golf Course
The Frank Ineson Golf Course is a private executive 9 hole course
bordered by 2 oak canopies and a lake with fountain and is for the
sole enjoyment of Good Samaritan residents and their guests.
Pools / Spa
Both heated indoor and outdoor pool and spa
facilities are available to residents and their guests.
Resident Gardening
The Village has set aside a patch of ground where residents can
be assigned a 20x20 plot for the joy of gardening. There is
lots of LOVE that go into growing flowers and vegetables at GSV
and the joy that comes from watching the seasons and tending to
nature is evident. Several of the growers share their harvest
with other residents. What a great therapy has proven to be,
for the whole person. Currently, space is limited and is based
on availability.
Village Pastor - Spiritual Care Ministry Good Samaritan Village is honored to fund a full-time Village Pastor to tend to the Spiritual needs of both residents and staff members.
